Sup.


So I bought a web host and are wondering what is YOUR favorite free forum service out there? It must have a portal included in it (SMF 1.1.11 failed on me so badly)

So if you have any other than SMF 1.1.11, SMF 2.0 RC3, & myBB/phpBB, post 'em here ;)

PHPbb is my personal fav, simple to work with and you can get soem pretty good results.

Don't go for SMF 1.1.11, there are a couple of exploits for it.

SMF 1.1 is fucking the bomb, but if you can't handle it...second choice is PHPbb.

I dont know how SMF can fail on someone. He needs to elaborate, but to me there is nothing else.

Idk why it failed...Well, just generally SimplePortal got fucked up and you couldn't make any new topics.

I'm going to go with SMF 2.0 RC3, on account of Iki's post, and try and get Simple Portal on it.

I'll tell you if it works ;)
