Voting Linkback, Server owners can choose their link, something like
lol.com/?page=voted, So if you voted, People will be linked to
lol.com/?page=voted. There are also some data sent, using the $_POST function, like "IP, time, date, bla, bla, bla". Or just a API.

I''m all in favour for this. It would be a good idea to have something like this.

Actually I'm not really sure about it yet.
It'd reduce the visitor amount a real lot because the people would stay on the servers site, yet I personally don't feel like passing IPs out to people, just highly trusted people, just because of privacy reasons.

First, You'll go to the Voting site (Runelocus)(To enter the reCaptcha) then you will be linked to the other site.

Oh, that's what you mean by "vote back". Ah, I thought you meant an IPN kind of thing, like RL sending details of the voter to the server owner so that the server owner can setup some sort of price.
Ah, yea a linkback like you're thinking about is nice.

It's the same as Paypal.

Yes, but PayPal also supports IPN (the thing I thought you was talking about)

A very good suggestion, this will stop people from being able to vote multiple times using a proxy on their site; For example every vote is 24 hours apart. People used to use a proxy on the enter a username field, close the proxy, open a new one, fill in the username field, submit etc just to gain the reward for voting.

I was thinking in bed about it, the website (Example NR) sends the username using the Post Function, User vote (enter reCaptcha), Runelocus link back to NR and sends the username back and a boolean, true if the user voted, false if the user not voted.

Ya, but this way the server owners could check if the user has already voted in the past hours or not, reduces our hits a lot because people keep trying (A)

I definetly support this. It'd actually help out server owners... But wouldnt this just be driving away traffic?

You don't understand it.
If we give the server owner details of the voter (e.g. a username), the server owner is able to only display a voting banner (example) when the player hasn't voted in the past 24 hours.
This would definitely decrease our visitors uno.
