Science is a great thing but their are just some things I can not help but question such as.
BigBang ~ An explosion from nothing?
Pangea ~ All continents connected, because of puzzle like features, climate clues, & Animals that were found on continents that are * Far Apart*
Evolution ~ We've came from Monkeys
Just some things, if you have any other that You believe should be added to the list just feel free to post so. I will not be giving my arguments, or opinions on the said reasons as This has nothing to do I'm looking for your guys opinions. & If I feel it is needed to argue I will.

Pangea is quite an easy concept
One large piece of land and then the plates started shifting and moved them to where they are now. They say the same thing will happen again but will California and the United States but again not for a long long time.
The other concepts I guess are more of a moral values debate and harder to understand the concept behind them.

I also alway have questioned the Big Bang explosion, just dont believe it.

Chris, you sir are an idiot.
There are tons of facts behind these (except the big bang theory, but I'd like to see you make something better other than "O GAWD MAED WORELD"). Maybe if you spent a few minutes of your life to use google, you would understand these theories.
Chris
June 22nd, 2010, 01:32
Maybe if you spent a few minutes of your stupid life to google these facts and present them to me otherwise I'm not convinced. It's funny how you mock me by saying " O GAWD MAED WORELD" In a mockery it's not even funny mocking in something millions if not billions if people believe in. Otherwise keep listening to scientists because I can ask questions scientists can't answer so I suggest you shut the hell up if your not going to prove your stupid point

Pangea: We know for a fact that there are tectonic plates. The continents lay on the surface of them. The magma heats up from the Earth, rises, then cools down and sinks back down. When the magma goes back down, it's moving in a motion that pushes the tectonic plates, therefore moving the continents. It's fucking common sense. I learned this in 7th grade geography.
Evolution: We evolved. It's as simple as that. Microorganisms evolved into animals, why the fuck can't we evolve from monkeys?
Also, religion is bullshit. They have no evidence that God exists, or that there will be an apocalypse related to their religion. It's just a load of myths and shit.
Chris

If so than, If we evolved from monkeys why are their still monkeys roaming around? Try answering some of my questions ms. " Scientist"
How does a fertilized egg become a human? Why do we sleep?Where did life come from? How does the brain produce consciousness? What is the universe made of?

Hey, almighty intelligent one. That's like asking why there's still microorganisms on the world. Not everything evolves.
Because that's the way the body is made. You better be trolling, otherwise modern day society has no hope.
Chris
June 22nd, 2010, 01:45
Funny how you make yourself seem superior to others by saying Modern Day Society has no hope. It's the generation who will change society forever in positive way. Starting from A Black President, to technology advancing every day. Things being made less in China, & Oil is eventually going to be Drilled in Antarctica. So Please just GTHO As your no better than anyone else on this forums, nor in the world.

Are you just avoiding the topic because you know I'm right?
Pangea is proven. The rest are THEORIES, and they are the most known because NO ONE can provide a better explanation. Please, tell me what your theories are. I'd LOVE to hear them.

Capitalizing letters in random words does not show intelligence shows Stupidity Because I Like To Type Like This ?
On another Note science can never be trusted upon as it's always changing remember for years everyone though Pluto was a planet what happened? Scientists finally figured after long years of bull shit work that it can't be a "planet" Because it's to small, and to far out of our solar system. Therefore they made a Category In the nick of time to not confuse Kids. Yet, theirs not enough money in school so It still says Pluto is a planet because they have books from years ago.
As million/billions of other people who agree with me God created the earth, In 7 Days. That is why it's written in the Bible, Their have also been accounts where people have died, and Been to heaven & are living a second life. Why would someone make this up? Explain why Science can't answer questions, they have no proof Of the world being made by the Big-Bang Theory, yet people believe it. Why not get along with your life and let believers of God believe in him, theirs no proof of his existence, yet Himself in Jesus Form their have been Documents, Books, & Writings in the Roman Documents. Why else would all those people such as the Athens, Spartens, Mid Evil Times, & all those Believe in a God(s). With pictures and All believe their was an afterlife. Because their is one, if you were to track Down Jesus family down to this point they have a bunch of information. But no-one is trying to as they will not reveal anything.

Kids, stop fighting.
): and @ Chris, many different scientists have different ways of explaining how the world works.. and we will probably never be 100% absolute sure.
Sure you could google it, but you would just get countless people claiming they know why or how we exist.
That is why people have resorted to religion, something that can answer the questions nobody knows..
Chris
June 22nd, 2010, 02:06
So your saying people follow a religion to answer questions no-one has answers to? Are you out of your mind, people follow religions for their beliefs of how the world came to be, and how it runs, & afterlife. Not for questions and answers. God can give support and forgive us for our sins

*Sigh*
Evolution is the process by which organisms adapt and survive. "Survival of the Fittest" Some "monkeys" (Since we didn't evolve from "Monkeys") were displaced from the rest of the population and were forced to either change or die in their new environment while the other "monkeys" did not have to change as we did to survive. How hard is it to understand that?

Pluto is no longer a planet because according to the rules, it must have a bigger mass than anything else in it's orbit, and we just recently discovered that Neptune is in it's orbit .. which is a dickload bigger than Pluto.
Science is changing, yes, but we build off current theories to prove things. We don't just make a load of shit out of nowhere and declare it to be the new rule.
Pluto technically is a planet, it just fails to meet one requirement.
The bible was created by some stoned moron who had way too much time on his hands. There's no proof that God exists. Please, provide me with some evidence just like I have provided you with my evidence. Also, explain why God can't answer questions. OH WAIT, GOD DOESN'T EXIST, THAT'S WHY HE CAN'T ANSWER QUESTIONS!
You realize that their gods and your god are two completely different things, right? They believed that the gods were people who controlled war, peace, etc. You believe God is something that created the universe.
OH AND, if you disbelieve the big bang theory because nothing turned into something, please tell me how GOD (which has to be SOMETHING, right?) managed to turn nothing (which it is) into something. There is no real way to explain how the universe was made. The big bang theory just happens to be the one that makes the most sense.

In the red you've stated what I said.. without a religion, people wouldn't know what to follow on those topics.

Here try this out for yourself for proof that god does exist. Now some proof the big-bang exists? Only the registered members can see the link.

Just thought I would point out the difference between scientific theory and scientific law.
Scientific Theory
systematic ideational structure of broad scope, conceived by the human imagination, that encompasses a family of empirical (experiential) laws regarding regularities existing in objects and events, both observed and posited. A scientific theory (Only the registered members can see the link.) is a structure suggested by these laws and is devised to explain them in a scientifically rational manner.
Scientific Law
a phenomenon of nature that has been proven to invariably occur whenever certain conditions exist or are met; also, a formal statement about such a phenomenon; also called natural law (Only the registered members can see the link.)

Denying the existence of God is not unbelief but an exercise in self-deception. You may know things, but you cannot account for anything you know
I read that and knew it was a load of shit.
It's basically saying that everything we think is wrong because we prove it with science.
The big-bang doesn't exist, it's a theory that makes the most sense. It's simply saying that there was a giant supernova, which if you know anything about astronomy, led to the creation of our Universe.

If you weren't:
A) a 9-14 year old kid
B) an undereducated individual
C) a social sheep
You would fully understand the aforementioned theories. To prove this, if you had any concept of the equation Energy = Mass * Speed of light ^2; you could see that the bg bang theory is quite plausible.
As for Pangaea, perhaps you should study the structure of the earth more closely; ie: tectonic plates.
If everything evolved at the same time, there would be no variation in species; ie, there would be one type of avian. So that argument for disproving evolution is completely invalid.
Religion, if you believe in a 'good' God who punishes perfectly good people for not believing in him, you are completely insane. If you choose to believe in fairytales of people living hundreds of years and dead corpses with wings go right ahead, make a complete ass of yourself.

You see, the known Universe is charted to be expanding from a central point. There is much math and observation of this. No, we haven't proven the big bang theory, or even pondered a logical reason why it happened, but there is evidence to suggest it did, which, actually makes sense. After the expansion of the existance we know, the matter and anti matter came into play, which, upon contact destructed into huge waves of energy. Long story short, by some chance and outnumbering, matter was left. As the matter continued to expand, the mass, energy, and heat generated gravity. The gravity then pulled the gas into large masses, which in turn started forming nebulas, or the birthgrounds for stars and whatnot. The nebulas contained hydrogen, the most abundant source of energy in existance, which forced into a small but extremely dense area caused said hydrogen to collide on the molecular level as it became more and more compressed. This compression generates massive heat, which after a few million degrees causes the hydrogen to fuse into helium. This eventually causes a massive force of energy to explode and thus, a star is created.
Said stars then live their life so to say, die and explode as supernovas, spreading key parts in creation around the universe. Those key elements are carbon, oxygen, and iron. These undergo the same gravitational compression, and planets are formed.
Now, there is no proven theory of life creation on earth, but this one suits me the most and seems quite logical.
I saw a documentery about massive lighting storms on earth at the beginning of life of earth. These storms constantly struck water, eventually out of some untold reason, formed proteins. these proteins eventually formed cells, and more importantly DNA, thus single celled organism's were created. The process of cell and life creation is completely plausable, speaking that we ourselves, have created artificial life ourselves.
Now onto evolution. The idea is plausible, and nearly proven. Things need to adapt to their surroundings to survive. so over time, they change. Single celled organisms become more complex, into small fish. Something happens in the water and they need to for some reason come onto land, and an amphibious animal is the result of many years of adaptation. I could go for hours on this.
If your still skeptic, look at it this way. Humans have even evolved from one another. Some humans that live in mountains have much larger lung capacities and hearts then a human in the lower altitudes. Why? Because they adapted to their surroundings. Humans that live in heavy sunlit areas and hotter climates have heavy amounts of melanin in their skin, that protect them from the sun.
Why don't we have fur? Well because the fact we wear clothing basically fucks with our evolution, thinking we don't need it. It's all about adaptation.
In the end, it makes much more sense then any religion I have ever seen. Religion and the thought of gods were an explanation ignorant humans with an imagination used to explain things, because humans thrive on knowing how and why things work.

When did I say that?
Because this idiot seems to believe that religion provides a better explanation about the Universe than the big bang theory.
I've never mentioned If you actually went to the first Thread & Read the first post I'm having doubts about Science, I've never said Religion is the way to go. You noticed I've stopped arguing as it won't lead anywhere, We'll just go back and forth and have blistered fingers.

You claimed science isn't proving shit, then you started talking about how religion provides an explanation to people. I believe that's you attempting to say that religion > science. You stopped arguing because everyone agrees with me when we say you're an inbred and lack the ability to simply GOOGLE THEORIES to understand these things.

I have read through the theories, they make more sense than "Well, what you believe isn't true because God does exist!".

You don't get the BigBang. It didn't come from nothing.
Evolution - that's a pretty simple concept as well. As we look back, we are still quite similar in DNA structure as monkeys. It takes time, however we evolve to better suit our conditions. Look at chickens - they use to be huge millions of years ago, however now they are a simple small creature.
Why?
Lack of food caused them to become smaller over time. It was also easier and took less energy.
