I'm just wondering what kind of music you guys like to listen to along with CoD montages and any other sort of things such as PVP videos.
Just post the artist/song below or the youtube link.

Thanks .

Ohh, that's a long time ago since I last listened to Rammstein.
Was before I started listening Black Metal, which is about 3-4 years ago.

I think the general idea is to use fast, energetic music while making FPS montages. If you want to be really effective, you ought to try to synchronise the rhythm of the music with the rhythm of the fighting. Sometimes that means using slow music - just whatever's most appropriate to the content.

As previously stated, Drum n Bass and Metal are great ways of achieving an effective, hard-hitting FPS montage. Some Classical pieces would fit nicely as well because they can be extremely dramatic and really fast. Music from the Romantic era tends to be even more dramatic than from its predecessor.

Also, I suggest that you choose a piece of music that won't distract from the actual video, because then the concentration's shifted from the video to the audio (and that's obviously not what you want). Try to maintain a balance.

Drum and bass would surely suit a high action filled montage. The bridge/breakdown would be ever better for a slow motion bit or a nice kill :)

I concur. DnB and Metal have some beautiful bridges to credit them.

Check out the newgrounds.com audio portal.

There's loads of Trance, DnB, Dubstep, Dance music over there made by people in their bedroom - but some of it's excellent.

You can download it and use it in videos legally as long as you leave credits somewhere.

So just leave the credits in the video info and I should be all good?
