I'm looking forward purchasing a VPS, but can anyone supply some pictures of what happens after you buy it?
is it like a remote desktop? If I buy a windows-based VPS, can I remote view and control that.
I need some Screenshots with people who have VPS

Exactly, true. VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. Basically it is another Operating System just not on your computer. You just use remote desktop. This is same as connecting to your friends computer. I have linux VPS and remote desktop setup, but i don't use the windows remote desktop program.

Hello,
Mostly window's is the main one used.
As gnome/KDE have a very very high resource rate.
Compared to the standard window's desktop.
I would suggest window's for you're self.
If you want to try out linux. install it on you're home computer.
Linux is suggested but running it without the Desktop Software.
You can pickup cheep window's/Linux VPS for next to nothing.

before you try to sell stuff and act smart, learn proper grammar. it's unbecoming of you.
"Windows", not "Window's", as it's not being possessive.
"Your", not "you're", as it's not referring to "you are".
"Cheap", not "cheep", as "cheep" is not a word.
also, learn how to form complete sentences, use proper punctuation, etc.

why do you need screenshots? it's basically just a normal computer, except it's virtual. you won't know the difference. you just remote into it and treat it as a normal computer. you have the full capabilities of the OS, etc.

you're asking for a screenshot of a COMPUTER. a VPS is a virtual computer. the only difference between your computer and a VPS is the VPS is virtual, not physical. all you have to do is remote into it. IT'S NOT THAT DAMN HARD.
Love you're display picture make's me laugh :)
again with the shitty grammar. Your* not you're, makes* not make.

dude, the UK's educational system isn't that bad. i know quite a few people from the UK who have great spelling and grammar. if you're going to attempt to build a company selling VPS, i would highly suggest learning proper spelling and grammar. right now, with the way yours is, you are coming across as a young adolescent kid.
@Volt: oh, would you look at that screenshot of his. it looks JUST like a normal computer, does it not? just a slightly different OS, since servers need a Windows Server OS.

Hello,
All I can say is that I'm not a kid.
But someone going around correcting grammer of people.
Is Kind of stupid. I'm just trying to help the guy out.
I know where your coming from. a VPS is like you're own Computer.
But with a faster internet connection and reduncy.
Going around trying to correct my grammer ain't a nice way to interduce your self.
End off.

i never wanted to introduce myself. i'm just trying to help you out a bit. if you actually want to succeed in this business of yours, you need to seem professional. shitty grammar is not professional.

Why waste your time with remote desktop and overpriced windows machines, just get a CentOS linux machine, do your shell commands and boom.
