Eclipse for the Win! Its pretty easy to use and doesn't need alot of startup operations such as NetBeans..

isn't the point of education to educate? teaching people cli/.net based languages lowers your iq...

oh well

They often times use it in introductory courses to teach the fundamentals of programming. They usually don't get too language specific when it comes to features, so because of the dumbed-down development environment, .NET is easy to use to teach the basics.

However, doesn't mean I support it.
