Question about hosting a server

Ok, I've got a 317 on my computer and currently it's only accessible with the IP "127.0.0.1" or, localhost (AKA I'm the only one who can get on). Can anyone help me get this server online so my friends can join? I've already done port forwarding, I'm just confused at the moment on how to actually get it to use a different IP so other people can get on it. Any help is appreciated =p.

im having the same problem, it wasnt working with hamachi... i even tried no-ip.com. i have no idea whats going wrong.

you gotta change the 127.0.0.1 to your no-ip
if you changed them and people can't get it, then you have to port forward your router

Make sure that...

1. Port 43594 is open
2. You have port forwarded correctly. When in doubt, try again.
3. You've changed the IP in gui.java, egui.java, or client.java depending on the client..
4. You have no-ip duc open

I've port forwarded already and have a program downloaded to check them and they are still open. So my main question is how the hell do I change it to my IP...?

Ok what you do is you make a no-ip account and make a host go into your gui.java file and go to edit at the top and click find and type in server and clikc find till you find it where it says server = "127.0.0.1 and then you change it to ur no-ip server and btw you have to download the no-ip and it has to be running for it to work and btw why dont you check out my 317 private server its got turmoil and soul split and ags and stuff like that and if you spam my site i can mae you mod and admin and everything is completely free.
