Hello guys, I've tried everything to "Port-forward" A 2Wire 2701HG-B, I've tried the best of the best guides and none of them seem to work. I downloaded the No-ip client, did the Torrent method, none works.
Help would be appreciative.

You must portforward no matter what, if it isnt portforwarded then you have no chances of people being able to connect unless you find a hoster maybe. Go to portforward.com for more steps.

Did the Torrent method. I know, putting in 43594, didn't work. Keep in mind I'm using a 2Wire, not a linksys
Yeah, read
EDIT: came out unsuccessful
Then I recieve the socket error, great. So I can't run Utorrent, No-ip, and the runserver.bat at the same time great.
Info on error.

That error means that the port is already in use. Meaning you already have something on that port, so what else are you running with it?

Okay, I'm running Utorrent. No-ip DUC Client, MSN, Kaspersky Anti-virus, AVG 9.0 Antivirus , Google Chrome <-Port connectors, I also Port-forwarded 43594 on my router. Which ended up not working. I can go further into this error, if you need the info.

Try to turn off your anti-virus and see if it works then.

Hmm, never heard of that, trying now.
Are you talking about this error?

Or about the No-IP?
Hmm, the Utorrent appears to be disturbing, when I turn it on ^ that error comes on, when I turn it off ^ the error fixes itself and the runserver initializes .

That error means that the port is already open somewhere else meaning you may be running the server twice. Also i might be willing to help you with teamviewer you know how to use it?

Utorrent does work, it just doesn't work with all operating systems.
And when you run your server, you have to close utorrent since its using the port.
so, close utorrent then run your server.

Run a 317 to test, then go to Only the registered members can see the link. and type in: 43594.
When your ports are ok and you still cannot login, go to your client and set the IP to 127.0.0.1, which is localhost.
Also check if you have done the FireWall exception!

Oh and if you're running µTorrent, your server shouldnt be able to run, since they run from same ports.

Well check your default gateway, because I have the issue that my default gateway sometimes changes, check that out for your router. Also add an exception in the firewall for the 43594 port.

To not get this error simply turn on your server then after that use the port with Utorrent. Then if the server crashes just open it again and it should be fine.
