Personally, I think doing mary jane would be much safer if the goverment controlled it. Being, it would be regulated. Most the times it has caused death is because there was GHB or PHP in it, or something one those lines.

Saying it can cause car accidents is true, but yet so can texting, drinking, and telling your kids to stfu in the back.
Making something illegal because it causes car accidents, in some was is insanity.

I believe if the goverment can control it with an age limit and such, then the substance will be less of a problem.
More kids die from inhalants then weed car accidents. No research has been proven that mary jane causes stupidity or such, if so, its very few.

Let me put it this way, If your Marijuana was laced you could definitely tell. By the smell, sight, and noise that it would make. I have been smoking for a little over 6 years now and I have never heard of anyone getting laced weed which was unintentionally bought meaning they didn't know it was laced. I've known of people who intentionally lace there pot with drugs like Xanax.The only reason someone would lace your marijuana is if they have something against you. "Hypothetically speaking" I had a phase where I sold some pot, not too much usually just buy and ounce or 2 and push it, Dealers are dealers because of the money; why in the blue hell would you put your 'business', life, and money at stake for such a stupid thing as to lace someones weed? For one it costs YOU money which is in dealing 101....spend the least amount of money on the weed as possible. The worst thing we can do is to get the Government involved, in this. Marijuana is a plant who are they to add restrictions onto it by adding age limits. I wouldn't trust the "government" to regulate it either, what happened last time the Government tried to regulate and mass produce a plant? Cigarettes, happened they let the Cigarette companies knowingly put over 9000 dangerous chemicals into their product that leads to numerous health risks some even fatal. The best thing the Government can do at this point is to legalize it fully, by that I mean like how Cigarettes are, where you can go out in public and smoke a joint just as casually as someone smokes a cigarette, where you're not limited to a 25 sq foot (5x5) patch to grow, thats not legalization; I say if you have the land and you/and or landlord are willing to devote it to Growing that is your choice to do so. They can 'limit' the amount Marijuana you have on your in public but not in the privacy of your house, just for sake of argument so you're not caring like 10 pounds of weed in your car. I don't know thats just basically where I stand on that issue of legalization.

I heard somewhere that you'd have to smoke over half of your body weight in 15 seconds to overdose on marijuana.
