You do release Smfforfree is a knockoff of the real SMF, plus, it makes your forums look shitty and unprofessional. Smfforfree sucks ass, an independant person could make it in 5 seconds. Smfforfree isnt the real smf...

Go to: Only the registered members can see the link.

Download SMF 1.1.11 or SMF 2.0 RC3 (Beta) - I'd suggest the SMF 1.1.11 as it's stable or if you're adventurous go for the RC3. Download the .zip package to you're HDD, now you need to upload it to you're web host using the uploader, most allow you to extract it on the web space using a cPanel or their own made Control Panel. Extract it onto the directory.

Now make a new SQL database (usually a database wizard) i.e myhostlogin_forums etc with the user myhostlogin_admin etc. Once created a database go to the directory to where the forums are uploaded to, i.e. Only the registered members can see the link. install the forums using the installer. Delete the install dir. Enjoy.

As said by Moderators in the old Forum, you cant classify smfforfree as your own Forum.
To qualify a Forum as your own it should be Web hosted, and on of the mods or theme should be edited or customly made by you. I think a heavily edited one is ok, without those custom mods or themes.

And Phil you can get .tk at dot.tk
I wouldnt recomend it for one its just a mask which status on your current tab for example if you switched from yourname.tk to runelocus.com it will still show up as yourname.tk.
Also im sure it messes up your internet explorer cookies.
May not be for FireFox or other browsers but think of your customers/players.
