Well I'm looking into buying my own vps/server to start my own hosting company (To be kept at home in my garage XD), but like I don't know where to start? I know that I need to buy the Server but from there on I have no idea ... Any help please?

Well first things first.
Do you have a 100mbit/s + Line in your garage?
Besides that you can use any computer to create a server. Just choose a operating system you want to use (Linux/Windows)

I'd always go for Linux for any sort of computer that will be providing a hosting service.
Also if you're going to be using this as a 24/7 server you will need some way of keeping it cool. Yes they already have fans within the casing however if you leave them in a cramped space that gathers heat the computer will just end up overheating.
Also if this is for web-hosting you'll want to understand how the software works for such a service etc. You will be also be receiving a lot of bandwidth if it becomes Popular so you might want to check how much bandwidth your ISP allows and as Friss said, You might want a 100mbit/s uplink.
