Code::Blocks is pretty good from what I hear.

Code::blocks always seemed nice. I personally don't like using IDE's for C or C++, a good text editor will suffice.

I've never had problems with Visual Basic and unlike any other IDE, it doesn't go Not responding every fucking second

Nothing special, and I've never had any issues with any other IDE. The performance of Microsoft's IDE is perfectly fine, I never once said anything against that. I simply hate the .NET framework, which Visual Studio is strongly geared toward, if not completely attached to in most cases. Visual Basic is a horrible language by the way. If you're going to use .NET, at least use C#.

Its not bad enough that it wouldnt crash the usual IDE continuously.
