Internet Bullying

The story starts a little like this:

I was sitting in the chat room and some kid(not mentioning names, someone this site) comes in and starts talking shit because I have a "I am DGK"(skate logo) logo up. So this guy rants on for about fifteen minutes and I defended myself, I mean who wouldn't? Then it comes to the point where he starts getting pissed because he's losing the internet fight then he starts to threatening me. Now as of I know cyber bullying is illegal, just about anywhere. So do you guys think this was right of this guy to bully over a logo? Discuss, Cyber Bullying.

I know I "troll" but I do it all in the means of joking. Also don't say "Internet is harmful", "Thats the internet for you", keep that to yourself. I want fully explained answers.

I'm stumped. Why would you start breaking laws over a logo? That's pretty sad, you have to admit. Hmm, did he threaten to DDoS you? That's also a threat but, it's an open & empty threat.

If someone says "I'm going to DDoS you". Instantly, really, you know they won't. I'm not trying to make this some sort of guide but ask them technical questions. If they don't answer, there is your proof.

Well, a lot of people cyber bully. It's typical. The thing is, if they said something like "your fat", for example, if you aren't "fat", then you know you aren't, therefore those words have no harm against you. Just deflect their threats in your head.

Why is this an intelligent debate? If anything a discussion should suffice. It is wrong to bully, over a logo just makes it more pathethic. What is more to discuss, or "debate" in this case? I don't see an intelligent person trying to debate that bullying is a good thing, therefore this can't possibly be a debate.

To be quite honest with you, I have had it done to me on this very forum. I don't ever report it because thats stupid. I doubt any mod or whatever would "care". There have been countless other times, not always on this site. Mods and staff members don't really care if its a chat room or whatever, all they care about is spam post and stupid such like that. It is the truth. The worst part is that they "support" the bully if its a top poster or whatever.

I just keep showing smiles :D and act like I don't care about bullying.

I just push the bullying to the side as it is a joke.

@Seriousnote - Internet bullying is so harmful up too a point if you don't have a sense of humor. If you're going to take things too heart the internet isn't for you. If someone is just using certain words to "harrass" you than let it be, once they start threatening you and things along those lines that's where it's not fun and can be taken without a second look.

Just some kid acting smart etc, nothing to worry about.
I also doubt that's considered "internet bullying", since you allways have those kind of idiots who are considered losers in life, attempting to gain some respect over the internet.
