NetBean fail

I have been using netBeans on my computer and it has been working fine, but when i try to install it on my other PC it fails. I know the problem:

JDK is not on the mation, and it ownt be. When got it the first time nad unistalled it incorectly it messed up the java settings. i havce to delete the javasoft registry keys just to make it work. But now i cant get jdk anymore need some help.

I am writing a program to access MySQL via JDO. It works well when run in NetBeans. But when I run it in the console from the jar file created by NetBeans, it has the and JDK is a subset of what is loosely defined as a Software development kit in the general sense. In the descriptions which accompany their recent releases for Java SE, EE, Sun acknowledge that under their terminology, the JDK forms the subset of the SDK which is responsible for the writing and running of Java programs. such as Application Servers, Debuggers, and Documentation.
