Game Of The Year=Red Dead Redemption.

I will post some more stuff like trailers when they are uploaded. So what do you think about that stuff? Did you watch the VGAs? Did you like it?
Personally I hated how they did not really show many actual "awards" they just sort of skimmed through. But the announcements are orgasmic.

I really got into the series when Morrowind came out (Elder Scrolls III). I really can't wait to see the engine on this one.

It's not Oblivion - Oblivion was set in Cyrodil. It may be a direct sequal to Oblivion's occurrences and it may not be - that remains to be seen. Fact is, it could be utterly unrelated to the Oblivion gates opening in Cyrodil. It will most likely have its own storyline of unreal epicness, according to the history of Skyrim (the first land upon which humans lived in Tamriel - the continent to which Skyrim belongs). Skyrim is a separate region, the people are different, their history is different, etc.


I really got into the series when Morrowind came out (Elder Scrolls III). I really can't wait to see the engine on this one.

It's unclear yet whether or not they'll be using a new engine or revamping the current one. I sincerely do hope that it's a new one, because as made apparent in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, the engine is flawed in a lot of ways.

As far as I'm currently aware, certain magazines have had the opportunity to play and view TES: Skyrim for a year, so that shows good signs - it must have been in development for a long time, and that bodes well in relation to the improvement of the engine, or indeed, the creation of a new one.
