View Full Version : How do I Convert any files into .Jar files?

I would like to know how to perform this act. How to convert any files into .Jar files? I know you don't just change the file extension into, ".Jar". As that does not work.
I don't know if you have to download any program or not. I need to know this for a Private Server. So, how would I perform this act? It's like RSBot, it's a whole punch of files put into one code, then changed into a .Jar file, with a program of some kind. I am pretty sure how that works. All the files, get put into one code, then is turned into .Jar. Does anyone know around here how to do this without download a program? If I do have to download a program, that would be fine. But first, I want to know if you can do it without download a program. So if I go ahead and download a program, then find out later, I don't need to download one, that is just a waste of downloads and space.

You could just use an archiving tool that supports JAR format, like winrar. That would compress files into a JAR archive, similar to ZIP. Although, if you want an executable JAR, it would need to be a precompiled Java program and need to be signed.

Thats a decompiler; it has nothing to do with the singing or creation of JAR archives.

Sick, why the fuck are you being so ignorant ???? YOU DONT DECOMPILE THE JAR FILE SO YOU CAN JAR IT AGAIN. There's a command for jarring a file iirc and there are shitloads of utils you can use that jar files for you.

Just how quick you are to just degrade other people, I'll say this that often what you say is true but you have to twist it into such a way that nobody really wants to listen to you.

If you can't follow the instructions you don't deserve to use it.

Multiple solutions have been suggested, and this can be easily google'd. This thread is becoming flame and poop, so closed.
