I'd like to remind everyone that we cannot manage every bit people put onto these forums and advertisements. Here, we need users to be smart, aware, and careful about any link or download on the forums or toplist. Nothing is better then a user who knows what goes on in their computer.

Need I remind you to keep a decent firewall and antivirus installed, as well as use seperate passwords for all your accounts.

I've recieved a lot of abuse from members lately because I locked their topic, albeit on one I did incorrectly lock but the rest should have been locked.

Your case is not unique, me and the other staff deal with hundreds of reports every day.

It would be good if there was a Modification for VBulletin to tell you if the link is dead or been reported has a virus.

There was a little bug, because ikiliki was hurrying up on making the toplist, so the "hacker" found it, injected it, got all the passwords, emails etc.

If i'm wrong, someone correct me.

They weren't hashed because I didn't have time for that while remaking the list in a hurry, everyone begged the shiat out of me to get the list back up.
That results into stress, and therefore exploits.

in all fairness it was part his fault. He knows it to but now its time to do things right and people are going to have to wait longer because of their impatience.

Agreed, but as he said he was pressured into bringing out a new toplist etc in time. So we can't fully blame Iki - However things shall progress from now on.
