SMF - 000Webhost.
Ive uploaded the files but on the SMF installer and i keep getting this error.
Unable to connect to FTP server with this combination of details.
530 Login authentication failed.
Heres my MySQL database
$mysql_host = "mysql17.000webhost.com";
$mysql_database = "a9674676_ash";
$mysql_user = "a9674676_rs2";

Well you aren't suppose to make smf forums for 000webhost i think you can't as i tried before and it don't work. It's a feature needed.

No, your database information is correct (assuming the password is too). I think this is more of a 000webhost problem. I've installed the latest version of SMF on 000webhost plenty of times before. Did you go through the install yet? Sometimes if you go ahead and install the SMF forum, it'll fix some errors.
Tell me what you find out. ;)

If you are having problems with 000webhost email me (emails in signature) and I can give you a better, faster plan for free than what 000webhost does.
It will also have a cPanel with Fantastico De Luxe. Which will install your SMF forum and database for you.

Show us what you're putting in the ftp box area. Not the mysql. I had this problem before and I was able to fix it.

Go to your domain CPanel, and find FTP details, those are what you need to put in the fields. I had the same problems before :P
