So i have been on holiday for 2 weeks and have not done a graphic in a month so i thought ide put somthing together.

Umm, full size image is way pixelated and sharp around his body. Try smoothening it with the blur tool or something.

V3 is most definitely the best up there, but still needs a lot of improvement. You have good color variation, but the composition isn't too great. You have a start at depth, but to improve it you need to focus on your lighting. Try and add some light sources, use a 300px soft brush with a light color to create the light sources(Lower the opacity and change the blending to something such as Soft Light). It's a great way of lighting for beginners. You could also experiment with the burn/dodge tool for good effects, too.
Now for the effects. I like the background, it's really neat, but everything else is... meh. The smoke effect on his right arm doesn't blend well, nor does the circular effect on his left arm(Right in true perspective). You just need to add more too it, and keep in mind that centering a focal is never good.

Cheers for that seth :), I think the render i used is not to good because it focuses mostly central which aswell i don't like.
