Hi everyone.
For my server i want to buy a vps.
But i dont know if a server runs on linux.
So does anybody of you know it?

To use a VPS all you need is "Remote desktop connection", I have never actually used Linux so i don't know but that's basically the requirements for a VPS.

No it's not. You can use a TS client for Windows, or an SSH client like Putty for Linux. If you want, you can set up a desktop GUI such as Gnome, and a VNC server to visually control your VPS.

And yes, if the server is written in Java it can run on Linux.

And how do i know its written in Java?
Bq there .java and .class files in it ?

TehCow ik wil een vps kopen van een nederlands bedrijf en zo goedkoop mogelijk. Ik heb er hier dus een van 7,50 p/m alleen is het dus wel op linux. Mijn vraag is dus is dit een probleem?

First before buying a VPS, You have to know if your computer can connect to VPS. Like some versions of windows need either proffessional or ultimate to use "Remote Desktop Connection" Program Which is used to connect to VPS.
