I'm clearing this up.

There is no 517, it is a 508 server & a 508 client modified to load certain thing from the 525 cache. stop calling it all these bull shit names, call it codeusa, call it a 508, but no a fucking 517 or 508/525.

You're not loading the 602 cache on your 562 server, the last time I checked a server didn't load the cache for any reason except an update server which I doubt you have, no what you are doing is simply integrating things from the 602 cache into the 562 client. Until you load the maps, textures and other files you aren't loading the cache.

call your server a 562 with some customs.

If you want what newer servers have, learn the protocol and convert yours or make a base upon that cache.

Agreed in most cases you are simply loading the newer npcs/items/objects/interfaces from the higher cache revision. People are very mislead by it. Technically the are loading the "x" cache, but only loading very small amounts of it.

So are you loading a full 604 or 602(i cant remember) cache for emberscape? If so you should get a title change to Emberscape 562 loading SOME things from 604. Just saying.

OT: That fps looks nice.

This has been raged about before and it only resulted in more aggravation on the posters (and obviously those who agreed) part. Changing the minds of these ignorant masses is near impossible. Although I agree, making this thread will only result in wasted bandwidth.
