According to Only the registered members can see the link. from PhysOrg.

(AP) -- Lately, a handful of new discoveries make it seem more likely that we are not alone - that there is life somewhere else in the universe.

This optimism, it's infectious!

Shostak bets by 2026 we'll discover ET life.
I'm willing to bet it's sooner than that, perhaps by a decade.

So, read tge article and tell meh yo forts.

Hmm.
Think about it,
In reality,
After all these years, Not a single bit of evidence can provide real actual PROOF that their is something.
Just a bunch of nerds who research this shit geting a boner over a few circles in crop fields and finding a bit of strange rock on the floor,
There is nothing out their, the odd thing you MAY see in the sky is more than likely just used parts from something to do with the gouverment, they do keep alot of things hidden.
It would be nice if their was something but in reality,
Little green men ?
NA.

There is life out there, somewhere. There are a few general reasons for why:

They're not as advanced as us and are therefore unable to make contact;
They're far more advanced than us and perceive it to be beneficial for them to refrain from contacting us for whatever reason (study, potentiality of war, etc).

Mathematicians in particular will be able to understand that there is life out there. The probability is overwhelming.

The crop circles are definite proof cause humans really can't be that accurate as to making circles like those, yet again, we do have the technology to do it like that. We really don't know until we get a big hint that there is life on other planets.

what are the chances of being the only planet that can maintain life? Not many. Theve even discovered tiny creatures in the frozen seas of mars im pretty sure. It not like "god" created one earth. what if "he" created more. Because why else would "he" create other galaxies. Dont turn this into a religious debate please.

No one has been on mars and the frozen seas are still a theory...

I believe there is some form of life, whether its green aliens is something completely different..
