Hey!

In this tutorial I am going to tell you how to install new fonts and use them in your graphics.

I use dafont.com (Only the registered members can see the link.)

Only the registered members can see the link.

It's not really hard, so I'll go through this quick, to whoever doesn't know how to install fonts.

There's some great ones out there, so you can use the search bar at dafont.com (Only the registered members can see the link.), or you can just click in the categories (Only the registered members can see the link.).

Anyways, search the font you're looking for, or if nothing in particular, browse around and pick one.

I am going to use Charlie Brown M54 (Only the registered members can see the link.).

[sample] Only the registered members can see the link.

Click the download (Only the registered members can see the link.) button to download the files.

You need winRAR (Only the registered members can see the link.) to complete the download and extract the font files to your font folder.

download winRAR (Only the registered members can see the link.)

If you already have it, skip the step!

OKAY.

Now we're going to extract the file.

Only the registered members can see the link.
[windows]
Click Extract -> Put it on your desktop so it can be an easy reach.

Now go to Start -> Control Panel -> Fonts

Drag the font files into the Font folder, and they will install..

For other OS: Only the registered members can see the link.

Great guide. You do realize you can open the .ttf or any extension of font and then hit the nice little install button.

EDIT:

Fuck toonshorty beat me to it.
