First off, a quick animated gif to show you what happened:

So, what happened.

Well Kovalainen in the front car was coming down the straight in a much slower car. Webber's car being very quick caught up with it and went straight into the back of him.

Webber's front left wheel took off Kovalainen's rear wing and also gave the car a lot of lift, at this point both cars are doing about 200mph and once Webber's car got a bit of lift the force of the air against it flipped it over. He then landed upside down with the nose and rear taking the hit, the car then flipped again and slid across the track and run off area eventually going into the tyre barrier.

Webber was totally fine and walked out the car unhurt, just goes to show how much safer F1 cars are compared to your silly drag racing things.

It was an immense crash, a shame it wasn't that german cunt Vettel instead.

Edit: By the way, Heikki was trying to defend, which obviously he shouldn't of done and just let webber through as his car is a good 2-3 seconds quicker than that of the lotus.

Heikki was actually unsure as to what Webber was trying to do so Webber didn't know which side to go on and they both just got confused, Mark was to busy thinking about that, didn't realise the lotus broke much earlier and went straight into the back of him.

Yes, but in all honesty Kovalainen still had the right to race him.

Heikki also made it clear that he thought Webber should have:

a) Expected him to brake early (very valid point)
b) Made it more clear what line he wanted to take.

He had all right to race him but there was no point in racing him. He was obviously going to be passed.

In the end though, this is just a racing incident, you cannot blame anyone.
