I certainly do believe in some higher power, though I don't believe we are being watched over. I believe that the Universe was created and then life had been, and we were left to do our own thing. I do believe in evolution and the big-bang theory, though. I'm not sure what my view on afterlife is, yet. While I truly want too, I just don't know.

Also if I had to fall into any category it'd be Polytheism, as I've repeated throughout this thread. ;P

Also, I don't know why those people did it, but it is what happened.
If you look up videos on youtube or any other educational site, it will show to you that the stories in the bible are almost the same, just re-written from fictional stories that people who could read and write at the time composed.
It is basically, putting all the harry potter series, twilight series and deltora's quest series into 1 book and calling it a fucking religion.
Maybe someone did this for simplicity, maybe some guy composed a book of all the popular stories at the time, just shortening down to get the basis of the story, again for simplicity or to sell cheaper maybe? Instead of buying all those books you can buy this 1 book that contains the basis of the story for a hole lot cheaper? And maybe some guy decided to take this guys book and change it to add God, and to share his almighty wisdom so people can have someone to believe in.

It is so easy to deny god. Simply because it takes effort to accept the existence of god. I would like to ask of you to explain WHY OR HOW do miracles in the Quran exist, from a person that doesn't know how to read or write? From a person that live for 63 years 1400ish years ago. HOW? science is already proving stuff mentioned in the Qu'ran simply because in the past they read it without understanding the true meaning, they took it for the word. and memorized it. Athiesm can not pull more of an argument,, however they have the full right to deny. its your opinion.

Spread story orally for a few decades until someone decides to write it out (at this point who knows what's changed)
Kill and torture any opposition, ignore contradictions and evidence that proves against our fairy tale
Use circular logic as support (I believe in god because the bible says so, I believe in the bible because it's the word of god)
