How Did You Get Involved With Servers?

The title says it all, tell how you got involved/caught up in the private server world.


I got involved with servers when I was 13(currently 16) by a friend I had met on Runescape telling me to join 1, and I did and stayed with them for about 2 years and became the most known player they ever had out of over 500k registered accounts over time, and then I decided to run my own server when JAGeX got that server shut down.

Now I'm here.

Lol, when I joined my first server, I never wanted to log off, it was amazing lol, haven't logged on Runescape since I was like 13 or so, and when I was 13 I barely even went on, couldn't stand it, just went on to talk to friends.

Well, I thought "Runescape 3" was some hack Runescape.

Then I figured out it was a private server.

Then I came to Runelocus, and played Deltascape, (Second PS iv'e ever played)

Then It just becamse a habit :D

I was in a Dungeon, when one of my friends were talking about The Client of Moparscape. He said that you could cheat any level, and spawn any item. I was all interested in it, and asked for a link. Then I said, I was just going to look (Lieing about it). I tried to get on the client, but it wouldn't work finally I just gave up. A couple of months later, I tried it again, and finally got it to work. Then I finally found a server, because I didn't even notice their was a Status Page on were the client was. Then I found this one server, and after a few years after that server. I went into programming my own, and so forth.

Got bored of the real thing, thought private servers were really cool and it would give me a chance to play with stuff i normally couldn't, and so i did.

I was about 13, Back then no-one my age knew how to play Runescape, my friend told me of this Runescape that you could spawn your own stuff and items and have KBD in Varrock, it was called Mopar Webclient.. :D
After that, delved deeper, and found other rsps community sites, stayed there for a while and then lurked here. :P

I was about 8. I was like level 60-something on RuneScape, and I saw like 30 people in a line spamming "Mopar Scape . o r g ! ! !" (BTW don't take that as an advertisement please - it was done like that because Jagex censors blocked it) And I went. Played this "server" where you logged in, all 99 stats, and you could do nothing but use commands. Got bored, joined MoparScape Forums, did retarded stuff like posted "Join my server 127.0.0.1!!!" Got banned. Went on to RuneLocus, lurked around a lot. Eventually joined at age 10, did more retarded stuff (mostly flaming) and got banned. Went to *********** did retarded stuff, got banned (for a quite idiotic reason.) Then went on to Mopar again, as Goodbye RS, Hello RSPS - where I became a "God poster" and "God member" with 1000+ posts and 200 rep. Got banned, this time not for being stupid, but for having the account made in 2006 where I spammed "Join my server 127.0.0.1!!!" Now I'm just back here, with a fresh start. :D

Then my friend said come on my server and Ill spawn all your shit back, so then I went on silab softs web client (It was FTW back then xD), and yea. I was probably around 11.

One of my Youtube runescape subscriptions got banend for botting and was playing a Private Server. I was interested, and look like 2 hours on downloaded it. Didn't work, I searched up random stuff and eventually found Pwnscape. I had no idea what to do, and someone told me to click a stall. Once I got all that money and so much exp, I never went on my RS account for.. about 6 months.. 6Gb of my laptop was PURE private servers, it was hilarious.

I got banned of runescape with my old account wich had 213M wich was alot in 2007..
I got banned for buying money from websites and i brought 200M for 120£ lol .. so its praticly £120 down the drain but i lerned my lesson never buy money again..
Still don't know how i got court.

I've been playing servers for a long time, a few years. I discovered them when looking up ways to make my account better and I saw something in the search results. "Private server?" I thought. I decided to check it out. I was amazed. I've been into them and RuneScape on and off since then. I started coding when i was surfing for servers on RuneLocus and someone in one of the chatboxes suggested one to me. It was going to be a great server, better than I could make right now, but the owner gave up coding for some reason. Before the owner quit, there was a period of a month or a few of coding. During that time I decided to learn to code, at least a little. I provided the players awaiting the server with entertainment until the server was finished, and I learned about coding. I tried out all kinds of deobs. 317, 508, 525, 562, you name it. That was about half a year ago. Since then I've come a long way, I run my own server which just had its beta release last week, and I hope to learn more about coding and eventually release a 508 and run both servers for everyone.
