Well if there was someway to get the Runescape client files with all the worlds on then extract it so you can edit the files you could just change the exp rate and make yourself an admin?

Runescape files aren't anything like RSPS files that you use.
It would take about 1 year to get ALL of the files due to the fact that theres like a billion accounts + you need map data, + other shit load of info.

Someone on Flyff Hacked their server and got their files, but then again their files ain't too complex to RuneScape.

The first RSPS was made as a server, not the client which holds the precious data in its cache and such. RsBot uses their client because it actually hooks to the real RS client.

First of all, the server checks if all the methods in the client match up, if they don't log in denied and most likely a ban. Second, exp rates aren't stored in the client.

Private servers VS. RuneScape, theres a difference. Mostly all server-sided stuff from Jagex is now client-sided in RuneScapes webclients. I heard there was a program years ago named RuneCheat or something, people used it to hack and get free items or anything. Now Jagex uses some program I forgot, but really, if you wanted to hack RuneScape you would need XTEA keys, the actual cache, and to hack in there program or whatever.

We already have there client extracted. Thats how we connect to the server. But you can not make yourself admin, or change the exp rate through the client. Though you can no clip.

Experience rates are handled server side, any idiot would know this. RuneScript is a language that generates and then compiles Java files based off the code the script(s) entails. They did it this way so they can pick up some random intern and have him be a pro Java programmer with half the money and time that it would normally take to train him on pure Java alone. If Jagex is stupid enough to store character files in some text or even a binary format then they should be hit in the head with a crowbar, they are more likely then not using some database like MySQL which you fools wont be able to get your hands on let alone know what to do with it.

90% of Runescape is server-side. Very little is put into the client-side; client-side is the most vulnerable to be able to view code etc. Which is why people claim to "hack" runescape by just changing some code in the client to make it so one item appears as something else etc. It's quite impossible to hack runescape pretty much. No-ones ever done it, no-one ever will. They monitor everything 24/7 so they'll easily stop any hacking attempts also.

It is not possible at all, dumbest thing I ever heard. The client rs uses LOADES data and SENDS object, npc ect information, to the server thus the server writes, creates data files, MySQL files which is a locked and secured database.

It's possible but extremely hard to accomplish. No system or computer network is 100% secure; there is always a fault somewhere; whether it be server sided and / or programming sided. You could do it but you would need a very experienced team that varies many area's. Such as cisco experts etc.. And I don't think Runescape Servers use windows; I'm assuming they use Linux and use the Java plug-in to run the servers thus letting them integrate cross server etc.
