In my opinion, it is good to purchase a good antivirus software so that you can keep your computer safe and secure from viruses and malwares. Bitdefender and Comodo Antivirus + Firewall are the best free antivirus available in the market. Antivirus software is the most essential software in any computer. Before installing any new software on your computer, it is recommended to scan it with your antivirus software.

Malware anti virus - It wont auto check your computer unless you run it. I like it IMO

I use avast! and ESET Nod 32 Anti virus.

Here's a quick tut on getting unlimited trial keys for ESET. :)

Where you see: dfgdfgdfg@yahoo.com just change it to some other random email press enter and done. New trial key waiting to be used. :) Enjoys.

I personally use AVG, it's just a preference. It's not the best, but it gets the job done and it has frequent updates. I also match my anti-virus with the 'Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Scanner' just to be safe.
