This is general discussion, But I was just wondering in all of your opinions, what is the "best" source or a fairly good source to download and edit? I'm looking for a new source and I can't seem to find a good one..

Hyperion and shard are the best that I've ever seen (and some of the only I've ever actually looked at). But Hyperion is bloated.

I've also heard that, however Shard Revolution's wasn't completed I don't think, so it may have lots of bugs, as for stability, Hyperion, but you'll have to start programming from basically scratch.

What do you mean by bloated? Just wondering.

Thats the glory of Hyperion and Shard. You create it all your self.

Perhaps, however it's the downfall for many novice Java Programmers.
Trey uses the word bloated as to many methods, etc. I believe he means that it has un-useful methods, arrays; etc.
That's just a guess.

Or it's just pack filled with useless shit.

It's to buggy, and the 317 deob has to be editted a lot to work with it, otherwise it'd be an actually good server base, in my opinion at least.

Eh perhaps, I've looked at it before, and it's shitty methods, seeing as it still links all the config files from the server.java; which is simply ridiculous.
Tbqh, I'm waiting for the server that is half-way ingenius and stores most of their data via MySQL. Or even MSSQL.

Will, yea. New programmers should be programming Hyperion or Shard lol, and Hyperion is pretty damn blank, it cant have that much unnecessary things.

Lol, but not one of the best hosters. Don't even try to login onto his new server.

I won't doubt that, seeing as Graham hasn't even created a server that uses SQL tables/queries yet.
Oh wellzors.
