I think it would be cool. On your birthday you get a cake next to your name and your name is blue for the day?

Yes. And also I think you should have to have at least 50 posts and be a member for at least a week (to prevent noobs from making accounts that have the current date as their Birthday)

You can disable birthday changed for users. And make it stay the same from the registration.

I don't think you can automate this rank so Ikiliki and Marc would have to go everyday, look at whos birthday it is, and give them the rank.

Yes you can. There should be a boolean variable that's in vBulletin. So simply check if the username has that variable present, and assign them the rank.

This is a pretty cool idea. But, one thing.


IT would be tooooooooo much havic. In order, for the icons to be next to your name and color change is called HTML Markup, and can only be done manually my editing the usergroup which he would have to make a new one called Birthday or whatever. But, yeah cool idea. I just dont know, I will look into it more than. To see if there is a way to automatically do it and then post the solution for Iki if he uses it.

Yeah, its a incredibly stupid idea, if the add on some how messes up 1 birthday that person's gonna fucking spam the hell out of the complaints section

There is no support for automatically adding and removing users to a usergroup, setting that as the primary group, setting the visible group, then setting them back to their normal groups flawlessly. Do you know how much of a bitch that would be to program? You have a big name at the bottom of the index that says BIRTHDAYS, that should be quite enough. An entire user rank for a birthday is overkill and bloody stupid at that.
