Music producing software

Does anyone know some good free music making software for Windows? i cant find a decent one anywhere.

The reason is ive been told i have a pretty good singing voice so i wouldn't mind trying to record some stuff, maybe even release a CD?

You could torrent Cubase 5, it is really good and simple to use.

download uTorrent first, then click the download link on the torrent and it should download via uTorrent or ask you to open it via uTorrent.

Just virus scan the file. And uTorrent download will not give you viruses.

no, i didn't download any torrent, i downloaded the utorrent program only, that makes it available to see torrent'd files...
thats all i had and my comp just started screwing up until i removed everything from that program.

Ableton, It's almost the same, but better.
