COMPUTER SAFETY: Buying/Selling Accounts

Introduction
As some of you know when you buy or sell an account for Runescape, the person that logs onto it next will you have your ip or isp. Well this is a guide to keeping that safe and from keeping you from getting banned for multiple log-ins from different Ips.

Table of Contents
I. How to be safe
II. Blocking/Masking your IP

I. How to be safe
This is very simple, if you read any of my other guides, you will know what I'm talking about; Anti-Virus - Sunni (Only the registered members can see the link.) - Explains almost everything about anti-virus | Firewall - Sunni (Only the registered members can see the link.) - Explains almost everything about firewalls.

Note: If you are doing the trade through teamviewer, watch out for file transfers! If you are using a middleman or are a middle man connect and hide your ip.

II. Blocking/Masking your IP
Finally the part you've all been waiting for, this by far the simplest part, but takes some understanding. So what we are going to use to block our IP is a VPN ( Virtual Private Network). It will still show an IP, but not yours. Sounds complicated, but really isn't I have provided a link to a Free VPN website which works like a charm and I will cover how to use this VPN below;

Web based VPN:
HideMyAss - VPN FREE (Only the registered members can see the link.)

Only the registered members can see the link.

1. Type in the website address in this case runescape.
2. Hit "Hide My Ass" and your website will load and stay connected to the VPN while you browse different pages.

Other Other VPNs including this one will allow you to choose from different IPs, so if you get banned from a website that logged your current IP you can virtually go through a VPN and register a new account.

Rsbot's client changes your IP, because you can log into the same world on multiple account. :/

It doesnt 'change' your IP, like this post shows, it masks it with a different one, creating the illusion.

This doesn't work all the time, but it shows once you log into it from another client.

On Runescape, possibly, but if they check that a log in was made while banned, I'm sure that will know somethings up.

Why would you need to block your ip while doing a trade..?

Why would you need to block your ip while doing a trade..?

I've explained this. It's not a trade in-game, it's an account trade. Which when you log in on the account your ip is logged at the top, "you've last logged in from: xxxxxxx", when you use a VPN it changes it.

It's a guide on how to safely sell/buy accounts.

IPBans don't just ban your IP, the account is also banned. If you're referring to creating a new account using the proxy, then yeah, it probably would work.
