And OBV this forum welcomes scammers.
Because if it did not I wud of been banned?...
Is this really how you want the community to be looked at? For harboring scammers? Allowing people to scam once is the same as allowing them to do anything once and get away with it. It makes absolutely no sense why you would allow people to scam, and get away with it. Of course if you openly say that people scamming one time will not get banned everyone is going to take advantage of that.
Think about it; if you were allowed to rob a bank once in your life without any real threatening consequences, who of you wouldn't do it..?
I don't think you realize that because you are allowing this people from other communities will come here to scam. As well as even long time members will scam once because they know that they can take a large sum of cash from someone, get away with it, and still stick around to actually be involved in the community. If you think about it, someone who doesn't really care about the community would scam, then stick around for the rsps help. How does their name on the scammers list effect them then..? It doesn't.
I strongly am looking for a change in this area. I know the rest of the community feels the same way, and we want change. This is also a suggestion I know, but I put it in complaints because well currently I'm complaining about how things are being handled. Please don't look at this as a complaint on the staff, you know I would never do that. I am merely trying to open your eyes that this is not right.
Thank you.
Edit: If you couldn't tell, I am referring to the Real Runescape market.

Difference is, Runelocus doesn't support the Black market.
Runelocus doesn't take any responsibility in what happens in that section, trade at your own caution.
There's plenty of middlemen, use one.

It is ridiculous to say you don't support something that is apart of your community. Middlemen do not solve everything, you know that scamming goes beyond middlemen. The middleman is there to ensure the trade goes smoothly. What happens after that trade is out of the middleman's control.

Completely agree that scammers should be banned.
Taking no responsibility doesn't need to be synonymous with don't giving a fuck.

Agreed, as newcomers may also want a community that actually has a system where scammers dont get away with things, and that could definitely point out that this community is a safe one, not one that welcomes newcomers.

If the buyer was smart enough to know what he was buying and how easily the account can be recovered back there would no scamming. Always when buying an account the account should not have recovery, bank pin, email and if you have all those there is like a 10% chance of the account getting hacked back.

Incorrect, if they have been the account owner for ever. The account can always be hacked back. It's called previous passwords, and misc account info that no one other then the real owner would know.
Anyways this is not what this thread is about.

I'll have a talk with the rest of the staff regarding this issue - I do believe that scammers should be banned myself however we were informed not to ban 1 time scammers but to ban people recurring to scam that may affect the sites credibility. Rest assured we do try our best to sort out the scamming; however as some of you have seen. Not all cases are as they seem so it's hard to determine a decision sometimes.

The thing about black market is that we either have to completely support the system or completely disallow it. Allowing it to go on without any intervention simply wont work. I personally don't like it being allowed on the forums at all, but if we're going to allow it then we really need to fully implement a system on the forums to support it.

I suggested a trading system to the boss but it couldn't be done.
But, anyway: We should add iTrader to RuneLocus. Also, anyone on the scammers list should no longer be able to post in the blackmarket section.

It's a very good trading system that allows feedback and such, similar to ebay.

runelocus is a RSPS resource website, they clearly state they are not a black market site.

Eminem, you're a bad ass scamming RS gold. You should go brag to your friends!
I actually changed my mind, if Runelocus is going to support the black market section it should be treated as any other section. You break the rules, you get infracted or banned.
