To hope, to care, to love. We have all experienced these powerful, fundamental feelings. They help define what it is to be human.
These important elements of a fulfilling human life are experienced by religious and nonreligious people alike.
Living without religion is a campaign started by Center for Inquiry, that talks about the life as we know it, but without religion.
You can find all the info about the campaign at it's website: Only the registered members can see the link.

More like a man who thinks with his brain rather than his penis.

A world with religion is like a man with a demorphed blue waffle penis - yeah even though blue waffle is for women, he still managed to get it. Plus he has a cleft lip and foot, a bum leg, a twisted in half arm, and a unobrow and in total weighing in at 750 LB.
Yeah.

Let's not go off topic and compare religion with penises (lol).
Anyways, I think religious people rely on their religion too much to make them happy or do good things. Don't do good deeds JUST because you read that you should - do it because you want to. A world without religion will show the true side of people.

Since I went to Atheist it lifted the whole "Oh shit, I could go to hell for that"/"I did a good deed, now I can go to Heaven" pressure off me. Now I do good shit, if I want too, or if I want to fuck around, I do that as well.

I believe, in a world without religion, we wouldn't have even basic morals.

Religion's are half-ass answers to life, saying"'God(s) created everything" is just too easy, and we all know not everything is easy, especially something as huge as to what created us and the universe around us. I believe there are some good things to believing in a greater power such as a god, for example Christians go to church on Sunday, don't not steal, wait to be married before loosing there virginity (Not all of 'em) and if they should break the rules they live by, they will ask for forgiveness. You should be able to understand that they are some good things to live by. Going to church on a sunday will teach to to sacrifice your time for others and other things that will teach you to control your urges. But all-in-all I think religions are a load of crap

People speak as if the world hasn't benefited from religions, where do you think laws and morals originate from? Without religion, it more than likely that man would still be humping animals. Civil relations between one another exist because of religions, does that mean a developed country needs religions? No, but it doesn't mean that a world without religion is a better world? Of course not.
Some countries around the world still need religions, why? Mainly because religion can correct behaviour by preaching in a non-materialistic ways. People who kill and rape often change their ways after learning about religions, where the justice system fails religions can excel. You must remember that the whole world is not fully developed, people need a reason to be civil.

Close behind, but more literary pizzazz, Jacques Berlinerblau leading to the Jewish Studies Program at Georgetown University, sums up opposition to the news this way:

Religion has it's good sides and it's bad sides.
From one side, it makes the people in general somewhat better, from the fear of hell.
From the other side, a world without religion, would be much more simple, people would let go of that nonsense, studies would be studying other subjects instead of wasting their time studying relgion.
