I've had an iPhone 3G running iOS 3.2 and 4.2 over the past few years and I've not really been all that impressed.

Yesterday I got myself a shiny HTC Desire and I'm pretty speechless. The phone and Android 2.2 with Sense UI is simple the most fluid and sexy interface ever - not to mention it's like lightning.

Comparing iOS to Android is like comparing a '91 Ford Escort to Red Bull's 2011 F1 car.

Blackberry just sucks.

thats probably because apple's app store started a few years before android even began...
Easy to use? That can be said by anyone, and for anything.
Fun to jailbreak? Android's got rooting, and trust me its more than just a app like cydia on your phone.

P.S.

Android all the way, I have an HTC hero, Love it 100% had an Iphone it was ok but compared to an HTC Android phone it is no comparison.

iOS. It's easy to use, and doesn't lag so much. BlackBerry is running OS 5.0 on Curve and Pearl (I think), and OS 6.0 on Bold, Torch, Storm & PlayBook.

My iPhone 3G lagged really bad.

But that's the biggest flaw with iOS, it's too easy to use. There's just no customisation on it, you get what you're given.

I got a Desire the other day and it's so much better.

It's easy to use if you're less technical, but there are also cooler features for nerds like me.

For example, on the browser if I type about:debug I can get loads of debugging tools like UAFaker which you need to jailbreak an iPhone for.

Not to mention, Apple are too strict on the app store.

I've played with both Android and iOS - Android wins by a long shot.

cool story bro, but I buy stuff I prefer. Which is why I've got the 2nd gen iPod Touch, 4th Gen iPod Touch and iPhone 4.
The ONLY phones I hate are BlackBerries.
