Before you read this: Just so people know. Especially those that like bashing religion and snicker at the idea of God and the unexplainable (and is therefore quick to dismiss this idea or get ready to troll), this explains part of it... and furthermore, this isn't JUST about the idea of another dimension but the idea of time divided by infinity.

OK, so on the basis of time being an infinitely divisible dimension, just like space, slowing of the perception of time can never be at a halt, because time is related with space. They are both required for existence. Our perception of time is based from the changing of matter around us; noticeable changes. Time would seize to continue if nothing changed. The world would not exist without space and change.

Could it be possible that at the time of death time in our perception slows to an infinite progression, and therefore the existences of "heaven" or "hell" in your mind? That would explain the other "dimension" or realm that we goto after death. Except it would be an imaginary world of course.

Religion believes that your decisions in your life affect whether you goto "hell" or "heaven". Could this mere thought when nearing-death appeal your senses in determining your state-after-death? Whether it be "hell", an infinite progression of negative thoughts or "heaven" an infinite progression of happy thoughts and anything in between. Of course, this determination affected by the life that you lived, thus the idea that doing "right" or doing "wrong" will place you in either of these "places".

There's already research on dying showing that the lack of oxygenation in your brain results in "visions" of your memory and thoughts, etc. formulating another world, so to speak. Similar to dreaming; white lights, pure pleasure and peacefulness, or the opposite? All of this been said to have been experienced by people that temporarily met death.

Possible? Thoughts.

As you die, your brain begins to stop working. But on the basis of time being an infinitely divisible dimension, just like space, slowing of the perception of time can never be at a halt, because time is related with space. They are both required for existence. Our perception of time is based from the changing of matter around us; noticeable changes. Time would seize to continue if nothing changed. Clearly you didn't understand the main post, so I don't expect you to understand what I just said...

I've studied this topic very limitedly but I do find it interesting, I've heard numerous encounters from people who were "clinically diseased" where most of them describe a sense of warmth and safety followed by a bright light, the brain slowly dies of lack of oxygen after the heart stops because there is no blood circulating anymore (Hearing being the last sense to go). There is one thing however these people all share in common, they have a religious base personally I don't know too much about the brain after the dieing process begins but my opinion is that the brain starts to go into an "Overdrive" mode and starts dieing out this leading you to hallucinate and can give flashbacks, ect. These individuals believe in there own mortality so I think that is why they see what they do.

people can only hope for an afterlife but i don't believe in one i believe that you just go into a permanent sleep feeling without the dream. peaceful but no existence.
