why would they? they don't care aslong as it isn't posted on their site
they might if you show a picture of you playing rsbot with your username showing.

Do you even realize how mad jagex gets over botting/rsps?? They'll ban you.

yeah i know, they still don't care. i say it to them ingame aswell. i just say something like "brb going to play near-reality" and a jmod just replies "is that an illegal version of runescape?"

The idea that anyone actually involved enough with Jagex to have such influence could/would be lurking on these forums is a pathetic one.

Now serious, no they wont ban you.
I've had a couple of conversations with Jagex moderators about RuneLocus and MITB, in-game (private message though).
My account isn't banned, they know who I am. Screenshots are probably still somewhere around at Moparisthebest but I can't be bothered checking.
Don't say such things without knowing what you're talking about.

Anyone ever posted about RSPS anywhere on the RS forum? They hop on it quick as can be, delete it and warn you/lock your thread. It's like they're trying to keep it a secret to those unaware.

Well if they did ban you if you showed your name on a RSPS forum wouldn't it make it incredibly easy and simple to frame someone else and get their account banned.

The only way they could really find out that you posted you RSN on a rsps forums is by entering the the forums. Which they can get fired.. not sure but yeah. xD

I could understand why, if more people went to RSPS rather than real RuneScape they could lose a lot of money surely? And I for one would be pretty pissed off if someone stole my work and made more money than me through my creations. Just sayin'
