First off there are a few things that I need to put out there....I have absolutely no coding experiences and to be honest I don't want to learn much. With that you are probably thinking "why on hell does he want to make a server"? The answer is simple I love the game of Runescape, but I love the idea of being able to customize it, so I got involved with RSPS and to be quite honest they usually suck. My philosophy is if you want to do it right, do it yourself which is what I intends to attempt with help of course. Before I get into the project details there are some good qualities and uses I have, so you are aware your not going to help make a project and the owner be a complete worthless piece of shit. I'm a very good manager and leader that's what I'm good at in life and as the owner I intend to do just that manage everything that goes on. I may not be an expert at everything, but I will be there to manage and lead the server. Now for the details...
As stated in the title I want to start a 562 server this will not change! This is one of the few choices that has been predetermined by me. Right now I'm looking for a few people to start this project..
Coder:
As the first coder you will end up being the servers head coder once things get rolling. You will be in the administrative position of Co-owner. I only think that is fair because my lack of knowledge and the importance of coding to the server. Your responsibility will be to help me get things rolling and be my adviser for everything that happens to the server on the coding side of things. After this person is selected more coding positions could become available pending on what is decided on in the future.
Webmaster:
As webmaster you will be in charge of the servers website. You must be capable of creating your own website. In the end I don't want to use free shit. If we get the right people this server will go professional. This position will be an administrative position due to the amount of work needed to create a good website.
For now this is all that I'm looking for. Once these two people are chosen further job openings could become available. I want to have people who know what they are doing in these positions and I want experience and proof of knowledge so please be prepared to show me a portfolio for webmasters and some coders we we talk about what I want to see If you are picked.
This is how things will work I will pick a group of people for each position based on there professionalism, character, basic knowledge,and commitment to this kind of project. From that pool I will choose the people for the position based on shown work and further interviewing.
