Hot keys, really? It was a decent switch, but lay off the hot keys. =)

Why? RuneScape players are ridiculous. Use each function and item you can to the best of your abilities. "Rules" are for idiots - there are no rules.

Hot keys are for "untalented" people. They are training wheels pretty much, because once you actually get the hang of switching quickly you won't use hot-keys. Hotkeys mess you up, so people that know what they are doing usually don't use them.

Nah. That's just plain wrong. More people will be used to not using hot keys at all because they were formerly never an option. Newer players will use them more and smarter players will use them more considering they provide much quicker transitions (unless, of course, you've been switching normally for years).

Hot keys are in no way for untalented people. They can be applied properly if you know what you're doing for great bridding specifically, especially in comparison to normal switching.

Why do people tend to pass up smarter and more efficient methods of doing things in gaming and justify it as "skill"? If by skill you mean refusing to change your methods or reach your best potential, sure.

:fp: To me, hot keys make my switches faster because i've been using em for a long time. Same with others. You can't claim someone is a bad hybrid because they use hot keys.
