The color fucks up when im creating my faces from the points. Why is this? It turns either a dark purple, turns black, or changes color when i rotate it.

This will go on a cape.

dunno. i quit 317's for awhile. i used to model. And i went to 562's/real rs. I forgot literally everything, i used to know. Just doing this to see what i could do. but i dont see why this is doing this.

Use the triangle create tool not the square, i think its overlapping faces, check the colour box, what ever colour is selected when you create the face, it will turn that colour.
