Only the registered members can see the link. is the website she has now, she asked me to build her one and I did. its 100 times better then what she has now, yes im not an expert nor are you, nor anyone on this site is they dont have a degree in it. its a small local business so before you go off about telling me its shit because its for a big company its not.

No, it's no 100 times better. It's just as bad.
You shouldn't compare yourself to the worst, but to the best.
Otherwise, you're leveling from down.

It doesn't matter how big the company is. Even if it was for a bakery, he would still deserve a decent design.

And no, you don't need to have a diploma to be an expert. Being expert is simply knowing everything about nothing; we indeed don't have any professionals, as far as I'm aware.

Now, you wanted criticism, you got it.
If you don't want it, don't be a dick about it; keep your rage to yourself.

Okay here's my feedback on this: The site seems to take more of a 90's theme to it than a modern website. The main thing I noticed was the background, it is being repeated; you can stop this by doing:

body {
background: url(url-to-image.jpg) no-repeat;
}

I didn't take much time to go through the actual markup itself but it was something I noticed. To help you I've took the time to design something for you, its about 10-15 minutes quick sketch-up work, nothing amazing but it might give you some ideas. Only the registered members can see the link.

If you want the .psd file its here: Only the registered members can see the link.

For a Health site I would of really gone for a light theme seeing as Light generally reflects upon being healthy and dark reflects upon being the opposite. But in this case seeing as you started dark, I did the design dark for you. You can modify it, use it; do whatever you wish to it.

Both websites average it up to say they both suck.

Sorry.

(Why would you delete my posts when they were clearly all on topic).

Like I previously said, both sites are bad and you're better to tell her to find someone else to do it or refund her...

To be honest, textual logos are never really attractive.

Add this in your stylesheets:

body {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}

Remove that center tags and use CSS for that; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;

Use margin instead of 10000 br's.

Please, change the font to Arial or something else.

Also, the formatting is a bit off, mainly 'the main box'. It should be transparent or something, it would look nicer, no yellow border. The footer is also very random, should throw in a copyright there or something.

Is ok I guess.

What you should really do is, youtube "dynamic webpage tutorial".

The only thing changing in that site is the stuff below the black bar.
