Weed is a fucking plant, It needs to be legalized. If they legalize it, they save so much profit that they can spend on other shit.

Understand that the majority of the mainstream drugs, if legalised and controlled, would be much safer and much less harmful than they are. Alcohol has been illegalised in the past and it done more harm than good. Certain drugs make life more enjoyable in moderation, just as most things do.

Some people have a lot to gain in the drug industry, and those people have close links with people ordinary folk would consider to be trust-worthy and good: politicians, police, etc.

I mainly oppose weed because of people like lusfr(no offence), he smokes it ALL DAY.

Now, will you deny anything other then air is bad to inhale? And weed, if overused, WILL kill your brain cells.

When they develop a way to use weed without any of the harmful effects(loss of brain cells, ect.), then I will be perfectly fine with it.

And before anyone says "eat it", it will still cause loss of brain cells.

I don't know enough about weed to dispute what you've said, but I do know that loss of brain cells due to drugs isn't much to worry about. Alcohol's responsible for it as well. I've drank an excessive amount of alcohol for my age and I'm fine. As I said: drugs, in moderation, are fine. There are many things in this world that can harm humans fatally, although few of them have been surrounded with the propaganda and attention drugs have. As a community of young people, mostly in education systems many would consider excellent, we're told that drugs are evil in themselves and that they'll lead to death, ultimately. That's not necessarily true, and it's certainly not the whole picture.

My point was that alcohol is far worse for our bodies than marijuana is, although both are perfectly acceptable if managed properly. I've taken a lot of weed, too. I'm fine.

Alcohol doesn't actually destroy braincells.

Alcohol does not kill brain cells.[176][177] Early temperance writers promoted the idea that drinking causes brain cells to die.[178] According to Queensland Brain Institute director Professor Perry Bartlett, there is no evidence that drinking alcohol leads directly to the death of brain cells.[176] New brain cells are generated on a daily basis.[176] Alcohol can however lead indirectly to the death of brain cells in two ways: (1) In chronic, heavy alcohol users whose brains have adapted to the effects of alcohol, abrupt cessation following heavy use can cause excitotoxicity leading to cellular death in multiple areas of the brain.[179] (2) In alcoholics who get most of their daily calories from alcohol, a deficiency of thiamine can produce Korsakoff's syndrome, which is associated with serious brain damage

I've argued this so many times, its like clockwork but I'll try to argue it differently this time...

Introductory

I have a very strong opinion about drugs, I am severely apposed to Prohibition of any substance whether it be Marijuana, Alcohol, Methamphetamine, Heroin, LSD, PCP, Ketamine, ect. I don't think the government has the right to tell us what we can and cannot put into our bodies. This "War on drugs" is a failure and every year billions upon billions of dollars and thousands of lives are lost and we aren't making any progress, you can bust as many meth labs, destroy thousands of tons of Cannabis plants, and arrest hundereds of petty dealers and will it make any difference? Will it stop the violence? Will it make the streets any safer? No, there will always be people taking there place. I believe in freedom of choice let the people do as they please in terms of prohibition and substance abuse instead punish them on what they do on the drugs such as driving, or any other such crimes.

Just because Alcohol doesn't necessarily "kill brain cells" it doesn't mean it has no negative neurological consequences.

Do you know how much tax they get off Tobacco? That would not go over well to Illgealize that. They should tax 200% On Tobacco. Plus this would create tobacco cartels. Alchohol should be limited, not Illegalized.

How would you limit alcohol? What would be the benefit of limiting it anyways, I'm curious to hear.

It annoys me when I hear this arguement thrown around by people who have often heard someone say it, who heard it from their dog. Tap your head, you just killed some brain cells. I understand the average member of RuneLocus only has a few brain cells to spare, but it isn't as big of a deal as some people make out to loose brain cells.

Lol, the brain cell argument is so silly for you guys. If you guys cared so much about your brain cells, you wouldn't be on the computer 5+ hours a day because you lose WAY more brain cells that way than smoking weed even everyday.

Edit: Silk already nerfed argument.

LEGAL WEED

Weed does not kill your braincells, UNLESS you get suffocated with the smoke, the only way for that to happen, is when people use the gask mask, it just fucks you up.
So before all you pre-pubescent 12 year old kids who listens to the police/parents lies about it to try to scare you into not smoking weed try to say" weed kills weed kills braincells, blahblahblah"
Learn the truth by reading book's,zykev,me,clayd, alot of people, obama, bob marly, god, rick james, ur parents,ur older brother, ur younger sister.

The reason why ur parents tell you these lies?

Because YOUR TO CHILDISH
