I know how this thread is gonna turn out.

I'm gonna get flamed and annoyed because I am speaking my mind and asking a bold question and considering all of the suck-ups nowadays it becomes impossible to do so.

But, what do you think?
Is RuneLocus falling apart?
In my opinion, it is. We are getting a bunch of newfag retards who think because they donate 5$ they become someone and they get power over everyone, Ikiliki is very biased, very select few off the staff team is good(Chad, Potstyle, Anthony, Toonshorty, and Marc), all of the trolls, Ikiliki isn't even trying to get shoutbox or anything, and let's face it the reset didn't do jack shit except make RuneLocus worse.

Also there was that awful theme Iki added which directly copied Palidino's, except he made the icons look screwed up and all of the rest of the problems now.

Oh and by the way, you can not lock this topic if you are thinking about doing so and I know some of the staff is. You know who you are.

Hell, I haven't even seen Friss on the forums since the reset.

Ikiliki is biased, I'll give you that. The reasons as to why should be obvious. When the CM demoting occured, we weren't even given a warning. But then again, that IS what happens when you piss Marc off. ;)
But then about a week or so after, I noticed that Kando was still CM. He was the biggest troll/flamer on the site.

Plenty of people troll, spam, and flame much more than the ones banned. The ones banned are simply the more active ones on the site.

Anyway back to the point, yes Runelocus is falling apart. The reset was the final blow. No shoutbox, which was my home at runelocus (Along with many others), some not-so-good decisions. Some biased decisions. I could go on...

I would try to get a shoutbox, but according to members of vBulletin.org the shoutboxes so far for vB4 are just RAM eaters or unsecure.
Yet everybody here seems to hate any shoutbox but Inferno (was obvious when I temporary replaced Inferno with another, everyone started hating on me, etc.).

It was Clean Blue fixed modified into RuneScape style, hence why the style was a child of the Clean Blue fixed style ;)

If you aren't aware, the style was using the homepage stylesheet. Does the homepage look anything close to Palidinos site? Check the style switcher on his site, they're all just the same theme with a different background mate ;)

The ban list in ModCP is actually longer now then it was after 3 years from the old forum.

After spending 10 minutes looking through the topic thoroughly, I agree with Ikilikikikiwi. You can't blame him for everything that goes on. You have to realize that the decisions made by the staff team aren't all accepted by Ikiliki first. It's not like Friss has to ask Iki for permission to ban this guy before he does if that guy is spamming gore or gay porn, it's the moderator's decision and you therefore can't blame the administrators for what the moderators do. Also, I guarantee you that Marc is doing his job; maybe not as well as he could be, but he has more real life issues than you would be able to comprehend and therefore has an excuse. Toonshorty is right; we should temporarily promote one moderator who's doing his job to help with the administrative work. Perhaps ram your foot up some of the other staff's assholes too (for luls) in order to push them to work harder.

I disagree with remaking the staff team. I happen to know most of them quite well, and they're all going to do their jobs ... decently. When they aren't fooling around or falling into the temptation of having sex/trolling with me or someone else, they're doing their jobs perfectly fine. I'd love to see you do better, Journal, but I doubt you'll get the chance by blaming Ikiliki for everything that you don't like.

I don't think that RuneLocus is falling apart though it has seemed to be at a stand still though.

I agree with Aff's first post.

We as a staff team have to make decisions on what we think are right and wrong. One person may seem something as flame and another may think that its just heated debate. One Mod may work harder than others but that happens anywhere. You go to any work place and you will most likely find someone that works harder than the rest. That doesn't mean the others do nothing and should all be replaced. Every one of the staff members contributes something to the team; we all have our own ideas and views and that is what keeps this site running.

I can say for myself that yes I have sometimes favored friends in some situations but I can also say that I have stopped them when they have gone to far. I can also say that I haven't been that active recently but I have been away for the past week. But now that I am back I will try to do more and be more helpful as I owe that much to RuneLocus and the Members and the other Staff Members.

This is what the problem is people need to know the job and act to do, but if the person cant do there job for a reason you need to call someone up to help them temporarily. i would say bring toon up to admin temporarily, he is a great mod, active, reply's to important thread's and help's people out a lot. you never know, if you made him as temp admin and the community like it, then keep him..

As of right now, maybe untill I get a job etc, I'm still active as I used to be. Yes, We all have issues. They cannot be avoided, and you have to let us handle them.

None of you know what it's like to run a forum like this, and don't tell me you can run your tiny 100 member rsps forum, because it's not the same. Your larger rsps forum isn't even the same, atleast everything is structured and more of one topic there, here, we get everyone from google. You certainly do not know what it's like to stay up untill 2:30 AM trying to contact server owners affected on the toplist from our recent epidemic.
