What you posted is not very good help as to what you want, did your teacher not give you a basic outline of what to write about?

Maybe you could persuade others not to smoke?

Give a brief understanding about yourself, so we can give idea's of what you want.
for example; if everyone at your school knows you smoke, obviously your not gonna do a speech on preventing smoking or something.

I did mine on switching to the metric system of measurement (if you're from the USA of course). It was really easy and people, including my teacher, thought it was a good topic. There are very few rebutals to deal with, the only real one being cost (which if you do some research can easy be argued) and people simply being too lazy to learn new measurements.
