best server base?

Hey im just wondering i asked my friends what server they think was best and one of them said delta, devolution, pi and others
what do you think?

Why not Delta? It's very accessible for beginners and it's really fun to play on. At least I think it is. :) The "best" base does not necessarily mean the best technically. ;)

Lol, I will.
And why not delta; Stability is simply sad. I've seen a server where you could crash the whole server using the last teleport in the spellbook.
And as they're just starting, I do advice something a bit more stable, as they have no idea how to make one source more stable.

This is one of the many issues with delta.

PS. It teaches them bad conventions, lol

Absolutely nothing.
It has stability, removed multithreading, ...
But; You have to do everything yourself.

Yeah, but a lot of kids who come along and set up little private servers aren't in it for the money, reputation or competition; the majority of 'em are in it for fun. Or at least that's the way it used to be. Delta is mainly chosen by beginners because they're not really interested in proper conventions and stability; they just want fun, and they can get it easily! :)
