Please, if you have no damn idea what the hell i'm talking about don't bother responding, I only want useful reply's.
K, so the problem is i reformatted my old computer a few days ago. I didn't save anything, the files, programs, drivers all gone, so after the whole thing, I found out i needed to install drivers. I got all of them except the Audio, and i've tried hard as hell trying to get it, but can't find a solution.
My Audio Driver's name is: Realtek AC'97
Computer is: Windows XP SP3
I installed Realtek AC'97, it says it was finished and tells me to reboot my PC, but even after doing that It's not working, and it doesn't show up under my Sound Devices under Device Manager.
My speakers are fine, they have no issues I can guarantee that.
Someone please try and help me, My brother needs to use My laptop for a few weeks because he has to write a essay for school (they assigned his grade homework over summer lmao) and i'm stuck with this piece of crap, so i need help.
Thanks in Advance even if you try to help.
