Well lately I have seen lots of racial slurs towards African American's. I would like to get you opinion on racism itself. What you think about it. How it effects you daily. Do you yourself contribute to racism. If you are racists, why?

I personally believe that all people are equal. I do say nigger at times, but as a call not as a racial slur. I use it daily to be honest. Overall I don't believe I'm racist.

The word nigger can't be changed not to be a racial slur, simply because that is exactly what it is. To say someone is a nigger, and then say the reason why you're calling them such is because it truly means "ignorant", etc. and going on to say you're aren't racist is extremely hypocritical. The term nigger applies directly to someone of color, specifically black. So if you're just calling them ignorant, stupid, or any of that other bullshit, do exactly that. Now onto the topic at hand, racism is stupid. Why someone would think that a person should be judged by the color of their skin is beyond me. Black people merely have a darker skin pigmentation, thicker hair, and so on. This has no affect on someone's personality.

Obviously the culture of blacks, asians, whites etc. are all different. Hence I could see how hatred could arise to members with different cultural practices than you, but it's still stupid, close minded and arrogant. We should be accepted and open to different cultural backgrounds, and even learn from them. However our pride and absent minded hatred blinds us of what is right, and we just hop onto the bandwagon.

Just out of curiosity, what level and to what extent of racism are you speaking of? This is very interesting to me because we are discussing the American Civil War in 20th Century history at school, all very interesting topics.

I've noticed it in myself living in the us, and most of my family comes from NC. I wasn't raised to hate anyone; quite the opposite. I was scolded for using the word hate at all. But the tensions were still there as I got older.

However, if your raised somewhere that hasn't had that racial tension in the past and its not in the family history, I can't imagine there being any passed on, lest it be recent.

I can say that African American's have different muscle tones than whites, and they do. Whites tend to be more square muscled while blacks are more round muscled. And I have yet to see an African American without flat feet. I have multiple African American friends so don't say I don't know what I'm talking about.
