Yes, you've heard it - we're in luck and have acquired the aid of someone who has a server that can host a radio event! Basically, anyone who wants and has the talent can sign up in this thread to DJ live for the listeners of the online radio station!

For the DJs:
The rules to DJ are pretty clear cut:
* You must have software able to transmit what you're mixing to the shoutcast server (example: VirtualDJ/Traktor has a plugin included)
* Mixes must be by YOU and preferably live (if you're interested in submitting a pre-recorded set, please contact us on our IRC)
* You must have a tracklist of the contents of your mix
* You must mix for the entire duration you're assigned (10 minutes slack - meaning 10 minutes under or over your time is fine, nothing more or less)
* The mix must actually be mixed... please don't thinking playing your favorite top 10 songs in a row will cut it

When is it?
The date has not been decided, but it will most likely be within the next two weeks! Keep yourself informed by reading this thread or announcements to find out when it is!

DJs: [format: alias (DJ_NAME)]
t4 (Vitus)
Friss (DJ Syn)

A full lineup and times/genres will be posted when this event is finalized.

What each DJ plays will be different. I for one play house music which would include songs like you posted.

The only thing is that we want DJ's that will actually do a mix (transition between songs) instead of just playing a random playlist they came up with.

Wouldn't we get problems with copyright?

Well, it's hosted by someone else if I understand correctly, so wouldn't be a problem to RuneLocus.
