Exactly what is an infraction?

I want to know,ive seen people recieve infractions,saying you will get an infraction etc,but what is it?Is it a ban?

It's basically a warning. Once you receive % of infractions, you get a punishment. Simple and sweet.

No. If you're familiar with SMF, it's basically like the Warning system. Infractions give infraction points. The amount you get for a single infraction depends on the severity. 6 infraction points = week ban.
