You don't have to get a hard-drive but depending on which xbox you get you get a X amount of storage programmed in, and if your xbox is new you can make 3 accounts that can get free xbox live for one month. Well gl on getting it and if you get a hard-drive you don't need a big one :)

You need a storage device/hard drive for anything Xbox related. Without one then your progress will not be saved nor changes. And I don't think that you can play anything without a storage device in your Xbox.

If your a pro-gamer like me then get the 120gb hard drive.

Or buy the cheap Xbox's and get 3gigs.

Yes its a hard drive isn't? It holds space Xbox needs space <_< ??? So yeh :3. Just when you put yur USB into the Xbox itll get formated into Xbox language and you wont be able to use it on the computer anymore unless you get that port xplorer thing that people use for mods.

EDIT: Is your Xbox the 360 Slim? If so then it has an internal hard drive.. If it isn't then it should have an external? Or if its a Arcade then its also internal.
